Hi, another good Viator experience. I started using them a few years ago for all our family summer vacations, after hearing about them from the podcast. This year was NYC. I was a little surprised to see very few options for city tours, which I figured were plentiful. Given my good prior experiences, I decided to just stay with the Viator choices. I’m glad I did. Our bus tour–the only one offered by Viator–turned out to be the highest rated NYC bus tour, with live commentary (some tours have recorded content) by knowledgeable guides. All the buses were functioning properly and they all even had wheelchair access. We passed by another company’s broken down tour bus on a bridge……
We also bought a walking tour of the landmarks near the ferry, followed by the statue of liberty. The walking tour was excellent and yet probably not something I would have purchased on my own. We had expedited entry to the ferry.
We also got Empire State tix, with the skip-the-line option. This was an incredible savings of time, the only waiting was for the elevators.
Needless to say, I will continue to use Viator for our vacations.
