  1. I like the 24 hour bowling alley idea. I was in Vegas trying to stay up until the sun came up one night last year, but gave up. Not because I was tired, but because I couldn’t fit any more booze or food in my stomach, and I was sick of gambling. (Too much back and forth, and it was making me nervous.) I was wishing there was some sort of bowling alley or arcade that was open late. (I ended back at my room around 5 am.

Thank you Michele, for the skinheads bowling reference.

I am not excited about the cupcake place at Linq, as there is a place like that at Monte Carlo already. Then again, maybe they’ll have some unique flavors that will make it worth the trip.

I am excited about the Asian street market for the food, but the other stuff related to FAME seems kind of douchey. (It’s a word I am reluctant to use, since it is way overused these days, but I can’t think of another way to describe it.)

  2. Gilby,

The Orleans bowling alley is open 24 hours I believe. On big group trips, its been fun to go to… you can bring your own bottle of booze and do shots for every non-strike. Vegas! Also, while I wouldn’t stay there again, there is a fantastic little joint there called “Big Al’s Oyster Bar” (no affiliation), the clam chowder is made from scratch and is mind blowing, great in the winter!

  3. I think Michele said that “Bad Blood” was a duet between Neil Sedaka and Paul Anka… I’m sure she meant Elton John, not Paul Anka. Must have been all the pre-VIMFP excitement.
