“Beso” is pronounced “BAY-SO”. It’s spanish for “Kiss”.
The Robuchon tip seemed a whole lot more insidery than the ones in the show itself. Why bury it in Last Call?
Mark, that’s what I thought, but somebody commented on a previous show that it was pronounced the other way. Maybe they were messing with us. Who knows. I pronounce it “bankrupt.”
The sole reason for Sunglasses Hut in the airport is as a place to try on sunglasses, like a dress-up place. If you’re going on holiday chances are you already have your sunnies with you. I’ve never seen anyone buy any there though.
I will gladly kill 10 minutes trying on silly glasses while waiting for my flight.
I still buy Tim’s idea that it’s just an elaborate mafia front.
That Robouchon idea in the last calls segment was well executed. Stuck to the budget and got “free” limo ride.
