Interesting info from the Las Vegas Business Press about a vague reference to something happening with Bally’s, but no real detail. One thing is becoming evident about Harrah’s Las Vegas Strip plans—Flamingo isn’t going anywhere.

I’m not sure what to think about that completely non-informative Bally’s blurb. We will be making our first stay at Bally’s in about four weeks so I’ll have a better opinion after that.
As for Flamingo, I think it’s a great idea. The Flamingo is a fun property and I love the way it stands directly on the strip. Room renovations will certainly make the property more attractive. If only they could fix their dreadful casino layout. I love the Flamingo but I cannot stand gambling in there.
Yep.
Definitely agree with Rob on the Flamingo asessment! You can’t beat the location of the Flamingo, and I’ve learned to appreciate the good value it is, realizing also that some of their rooms were getting pretty dated. If they can remodel and keep the room offers coming my way, I will be really stoked about the property!
If only they could get some solid Video Poker!
Oh, and you can’t beat the pool(s)!
